Workshop Leader Shaun DeMers says: "This approach cultivates an honest, loving relationship with self and others, improves concentration, focus and relaxation. Noble Heart Workshop is a combination of several meditation techniques: Mindfulness-Awareness Meditation and Maitri, or Lovingkindness Meditation. I will present them as taught by Pema Chödrön— an American Buddhist Nun. I will show how we can use these techniques in our lives to achieve balance and compassion, while still working with difficult situations and emotions like depression, anxiety, and panic. Side effects of the practices are improved focus, concentration and fearlessness."
